Investiture Planning Meeting

Time ran from 2.00  p.m. to 3.20 PM

Anton is having trouble contacting Roger at the boy Scout Camp - he keeps getting busy signals.  He needs to ask him about the archery field, and whether we need to get some hay bales out there.  Also we need to find out if Roger will even be on site over Thanksgiving weekend.

People have been contacting Catrin about teaching courtly dance - Mercedes is concerned about the possibility of issues, so wants to talk to them.

There was an unresolved question about Baroness's A&S.

Alton will be running a tournement begining after morning court.

Feast is going ok, they may need a bit more money, but if so, it won't be much ($25-50)

Ian is doing t-shirts, but these aren't done yet.

Table cloths have had some dye problems (Beige vs. Pink).  We will likely just use the beige ones.

Lynn is running a breakfast tavern with proceeds going to NY.

We can do court outside at the listfield, but are planning on having it inside.

Tentative Schedule:

• SATURDAY
• 8.00 Wake Up
• 8.30  Armor inspection
• 9.30-10 Morning Court begins (Will require some scheduling stuff with the Crown). Robert will step down. Some awards may be given.
• [11.-12] Morning Court will end.   Alton's tournament.  All four martial events will require toys to enter and participate.  Archery and Knife Throw to runn concurrently
• 4-ish  Afternoon Court begins.  Investiture.
• 6/6.30 Feast  -- we may want to better organize seating in Hall.
• Half Hour after feast (not later than 8.30).  Evening Court begins
• SUNDAY
• Probably no closing court -- nothing planned.
• 9-11 am  Mercedes will have a Landed Nobles Breakfast - she is handling that.
• 2.00 Site closes (and this means CLOSES, not people start to pack).

Ian:   we need trailer registration ASAP, and he needs to talk to Sigen.   Marcus will also need the keys to the trailer before he can move it.

Lynn:  Event flyers, needed not later than Wednesday before (Kinkos at 41/Yale)

M&A:  Need some shields out of 3/4" plywood to lift up their Majestys.   Ainar will be taking care of those.

Ian: still working on signs (Vinyl/Real Estate style).  Bjorlich is still working on the sight tokens.

M&A: TM still want all the Landeds to come.  We need small gifts for those who make it.  Preferably period gifts.

Robert:  The Crown will possibly want to give out a bunch of awards at morning court.

Rosamund:  March of Precedence for those who want to participate.  May want to have people sign up for it at the gate.  Need to talk to other landeds to see what they want to do.  This is going to be a major scheduling pain.

Toinette is still looking into the Mooneschadowe archery, but hasn't gotten the information she needs to do it.

Dirgelian: We still need people to sign up for crash space.

People who want to do court heraldry need to talk to Etienne.
