Investiture Planning Meeting

Time ran from 2.00 p.m. to 3.20 PM
Anton began the meeting with an explanation that due to the mundane events of the past week, a number of things have been upset -- but everything has been getting back to normal [historical note: this was the week of the "Attack on America"].
Both of Anton's emails are functional.
Last weekend they inventoried the Baronial trailer, threw out some old food items (e.g. numerous 5 LB bricks of sugar, 8 year old spices, etc). Some signs are missing, one of them was know to have been stolen (we may need to make new ones). Ian later suggested that we could buy some metal real estate type signs fairly cheaply. This was a fairly popular suggestion.
Anton and Catrin bought a back up arch. Robert will contact the other baronies in the north and see what they want to do regarding.
We need to arrange some fireplace wood, and wood for smoker. Xenos offered some fibrewood forms; Marcus Quietly and Lynn offered some fallen wood at their land; Etienne and Rosamund are bringing down a tree. The plan at the moment is to get E&R's wood, and M&L's fell; Alton will contact the folks in Stroud about any further wood needs.
Ian says the feast is going well, and the ladies are currently jazzed about subtleties. The napkins are going well.
Beorhtlic has a blank for the site tokens and has made arrangements for a place to stamp them. He may need help when the time comes to make them. Etienne suggested putting the Motto on the back. Any extra tokens will go into Largess, and we need some.
We need a basketful of gifts for the crown (we had a discussion abtou the difference between paying the Elevation Fee (a one time thing) and simply giving a gift (which is what we are doing now).
The Polling will be at TU at 1-1.30 (the flight is at 4.40). We need to wait and get some more info regarding the needs for security at the airport (as a back up, we do have people who are willing to drive her home). There was a brief disscussion about the polling issue.
Anton expressed a small complaint about changing plans without alerting the Autocrat.
Invitations are not finished yet.
We need to send the next ads to the Mews and the Black Star. A 2 page ad.
Toinette had asked if we could hold the Mooneschadowe Archery Shoot (rained out at Guardian). This was ok, but because of the already crowded schedule, maybe Margrave might be better? We need to talk to Toinette.
In all, everything's ok -- people are doing well. Send more award recs in.
